Will I get my deposit back?

Yes! It is okay if the headphones are returned slightly scratched or with slight rips in the leather part of the headphones, we understand as things do happen.

Porta-Party retains the right to keep part or all of the deposit if the equipment is returned damaged in a way that would prevent future usage. We deem this to mean headphones are not functioning / pieces are missing / water damaged / lights not working / clearly broken.

Why do I have to hire a Technician?

The Technician is there to help you troubleshoot any issues that may arise while using our equipment during your event. The Technician is also there to oversee the use of our headphones and transmitters while ultimately being fully liable for the equipment. However, if you feel comfortable using our equipment by yourself and are willing to assume all responsibility in handling it, we have the deposit option for you.

What happens if the equipment is not working upon delivery?

We ensure testing of the equipment is done before equipment is issued to you for your event. However, in the rare occurrence our equipment is not working during event setup, we will offer a partial refund for the malfunctioning equipment. Should this be the case, we ask you take a photo or video of the malfunctioning equipment to in turn submit a refund request form. After you submit the refund request form and the issue with the equipment is evaluated by our team, you will receive a partial or full refund to the payment card initially used for purchase or you will be issued credit towards your next party with us.
